1. What is the cutpoint of the cyclone?

1. What is the cutpoint of the cyclone?

The nominal cutpoint of the cyclone is 10 µm at 10 lpm flowrate.

2. Can I do isokinetic sampling with the cyclone and how?

The inlet nozzles in the cyclone are changeable. There are eleven different nozzle sizes available for isokinetic sampling. Please find more information here .

3. The pressure and the temperature affect the cutpoint of the cyclone. How can I take these affects into account in my measurements?

We provide an excel sheet with the cyclone which calculates the changes in the cutpoint according to EPA standard 201A.

4. Are there any limitations for using the cyclone?

The cyclone is made of Stainless steel so it can endure rough conditions. The temperature limit for the cyclone is 600 ºC

5. Does the cyclone fulfill any standard?

The cyclone is manufactured according to EPA standard 201A.
