Real-time measurement instruments

ELPI+™ (Electrical Low Pressure Impactor) is a new, improved version of the widely used and well characterized ELPITM system. ELPI+™ enables measurement of real-time particle size distribution and concentration in the size range of 6nm - 10μm with 10Hz sampling rate. The ELPI+™ can be used in wide range of particle measurement applications including combustion aerosol and engine exhaust studies, pharmaceutical inhaler development, air quality monitoring and general aerosol research.

Dekati® BOLAR (Bipolar Charge Analyzer) is the first commercially available instrument capable of measuring separately negative and positive charge levels of airborne particles. The BOLAR has been designed specifically for the development of dry powder inhalers, metered dose inhalers and nebulizers keeping in mind the needs of pharmaceutical industry.

ELPI™ (Electrical Low Pressure Impactor) is an instrument that measures particle size distribution and concentration in real-time. The ELPI™ operates in the size of 7nm – 10µm. Its rapid response along with compact and sturdy design makes it an excellent measurement instrument for both demanding environments and research. ELPI™ applications include combustion and automotive exhaust particle size distribution measurements, pharmaceutical inhaler studies, filter grade efficiency and particle charge measurements as well as indoor and outdoor air quality measurements.

DMM (Dekati® Mass Monitor) is a real-time
instrument for diesel and gasoline vehicle PM (Particulate Matter) emission measurements. Used either with a tailpipe sampling system or existing CVS tunnel it provides second-by-second information about vehicle PM mass emission.

Gravimetric Impactors

DLPI (Dekati® Low Pressure Impactor) is a 13-stage cascade impactor for measuring gravimetric particle size distribution. DLPI size classifies particles from 10 microns down to 30 nm, filter stage accessory enables collection of particles below 30 nm. DLPI is available with sample flow rates of 10 and 30 lpm.

DGI (Dekati® Gravimetric Impactor)is a cascade impactor with cutpoints of 2.5, 1.0, 0.5 and 0.2 microns and a back-up filter. The particles are collected on Ø47 mm filters with sample flow rate of 70 lpm. DGI is typical used in combustion measurements including automotive emission testing, but it is can be applied to any measurements where particles in its operational range exist.

Dekati® PM10 impactor is a three stage cascade impactor for determining particle gravimetric mass size distribution. The PM10 impactor provides information on the PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 mass size fractions. The PM10 impactor is available with two sample flow rates and complete setups can be provided for different applications including air quality monitoring and combustion flue gas measurements.
