Quality
High quality and reliability are key features for all Dekati Ltd. products. While Dekati products are high-end scientific instruments, they are designed to be used in the field rather than in a laboratory. This sets high requirements for the quality as the used technology and the instruments have to be tested for field conditions. All Dekati instrument models go through a rigorous type-approval test, where the instrument response is tested with changes in temperature, pressure and humidity. In addition, vibration and misuse tests are carried out to make sure that the instruments are ready for any environment.
All of Dekati individual instruments are tested with traceably calibrated flow, pressure, temperature, voltage and current measurements. In addition a reference test is carried out for each measurement instrument against the original reference instrument calibrated with particles by an independent aerosol laboratory. The reference instrument response is verified annually with traceable gravimetric measurements. These procedures ensure that every shipped instrument operates according to the specifications and that the measurement data from the instrument is reproducible.
Dekati Quality manager oversees monitoring and development of quality at Dekati. This includes analyzing long-term testing data and the development of quality processes within the company.
